The Masseria is located in the countryside next to the Madonie Nature Reserve
in the heart of an extensive country estate near to the village of San Giovanni.
From here you have an opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful and untouched
villages in Sicily : Polizzi Generosa, Petralia Sottana e Soprana, Ganci,
Sperilinga and Geraci Siculo. Also to be experienced are the local specialities
of the area and the numerous local festivals (see the part of the website dedicated
to the Madoniefor further information). It is possible to organise guided tours
of the Nature Reserve and of the surrounding mountains, excursions on horseback,
trekking and mountain biking. The historic seaside town of Cefalù (60 km) and its
beaches is also highly recommended. To reach Cefalù we recommend the road which passes
through Geraci Siculo and Castelbuono.
